CMS (Content Management System)

Just what is a CMS or (Content Management System)? Well a Content Management System (CMS for short) is a program that you set-up or is set-up for you on you web host or personal web server.

Some CMS’s are small and can be set-up in just under ten minutes and others may take a little longer. So just what does a CMS do?

Well the most direct answer is that it manages content for your website or blog. Some do the job better than others but which one does the best job!

That is almost impossiable to answer, there are so many good CMS’s out there and most of them are free. Take WordPress, TextPattern, Mambo, and sNews and Guppy, for starters.

That would give you a start to learning about CMS’s and this is just the start of it.

A blonde, brunette and redhead are in a desert.

The brunette says, “I brought some water so we don’t get dehydrated.”

The redhead says, “I brought some suntan lotion so we don’t get sunburned.”

Then the blonde says I brought a car door.” The other girls said, “Why did you bring that?” Then the blonde says, “So I can roll down the window if it gets hot.”
